Riding Lessons
Lessons & Horsemanship at Our Farm—Learning with Heart

At our farm, riding is more than a skill—it’s a relationship. We’re proud to provide a personalized and supportive experience for every student, led by accomplished trainers and instructors who share our deep respect for horses and the people who love them.

From ground work to the round pen to time in the saddle, we teach all aspects of horsemanship—with safety always at the forefront and fun never left behind. Whether your passion is Western, English, Gaited Pleasure, or Training Level Dressage, we offer instruction for all levels and all ages.

Board your horse with us? You’ll receive reduced rates for riding lessons, helping both you and your horse progress together.

Our farm is a place where students can grow in skill and confidence, whether you're tacking up for the first time or returning to riding after years away. We specialize in working with children, beginners, and timid riders, making sure everyone feels at ease both in and out of the saddle.

Through our hands-on approach, we teach:

- Tacking up and tack care

- Horse anatomy (including parts of the hoof)

- Safe handling and horse behavior

- Grooming, barn care, and stable management

- Understanding and recognizing common equine ailments

As a locally owned, family-run farm, our teaching comes from the heart. I work alongside my husband, Tom, and our son, Thomas—each of us devoted to showing just how special and inspiring horses truly are. We’re also fortunate to have a trusted circle of visiting instructors who bring diverse experience to our barn community.

Every student here is part of the family—and so is every horse.

"Riding a horse is not a gentle hobby, to be picked up and laid down like a game of Solitaire.
It is a grand passion."
